  When I was there we waited for a Dr like it's the second coming of Jesus. A specialist needed to check mum due to waist pain and after 3 days we could not get access to a Dr. Nurses were pumping her with pain killers everyday and bills were adding. We finally had to leave and go elsewhere. God help this country.

  Those doctors are idiots they can't do their job poor medical care they give injection and my girl hand get sowing and then they say it is not their fault they keep making to much mistakes every time I think they do not know what they are doing don't go there that place is bad I when there for 4 day and I see 3 people death bad doctors so sad

  Very very very very very poor services at the newly inaugurated imaging centre with very horrible I repeat horrible staffs working in that department they need to be expelled and better personnel hired

  One of the best Hospitals in Cameroon, probably the best in the South West Region Located up town, it's accessible to anyone Very conducive area, cold and moderate climate It has a superb dental unit that has proven to be the best Nation Wide Competent and Hospitable personels

  I had a great experience about this hospital during my visit.It is about 2km away from the mile 17 motor park. It is situated precisely between the delegations of education and the army barracks, along the highway to the Bokwango neighborhood. The hospital is made up of many units/departments/centers including the following: the medical unit (male and female), the surgical unit, the paediatrics unit, the maternity unit, the HIV/AIDS unit, the Laboratory unit, the X-ray unit, the haemodialysis center, the Tuberculosis center, the Diabetes center, the theater department and the Out patient department (OPD). Each of the Unit/Department/Center is headed by a specialist doctor (Surgeons, Gynecologist, Paediatrician, etc). But control of the wards is done by the ward charges like senior nurses and midwives. Also present in the hospital are nurses of all categories ranging from Nursing assistants (NAS), State Registered Nurses (SRN), Higher National Diploma Nurses (HND), Degree (BNS) and even master degree holder Nurses (MNE). The hospital is headed by a medical doctor who occupies the position of the director assisted by the general supervisor who supervises the activities of the technical staff, the econome, who is in charge of finances, and other administrative staff. The Buea Regional Hospital (B.R.H) serves clients from all over Buea and its environs. These clients either come to the hospital for consultation and treatment and treatment or they are referred from other health centers and clinics around. It admits clients for as long as they can stay and get well and also carries out minor and major surgery. In the year 2003, the Chinese government renovated the entire hospital and equipped some units with modern equipment. It's one of the best in the region,i will recommend it for anyone in case of emergency.
