::First Trust bank Limbe has been there for some time. Though there's tough competition now and it seems left behind, it's still the best choice for some people. First Trust Savings and Loan (FTSL) is a Microfinance establishment created in 1996 which today operates in the second category in accordance with its approval. First Trust, in its journey, has experienced long periods of instability and misreading of operational strategies; things that contributed to worsening its financial situation, including its passage into Provisional Administration during the period 2008 to 2010. Given its precarious situation, shareholders and managers made the courageous decision in 2013 to refocus its activities and reposition it in its traditional sector of microfinance activity. The implementation of this salutary decision has opened new perspectives for this institution which is making its way in the concert of EMFs in Cameroon. It was a matter of reaffirming and clearly defining its Vision-Mission-Objective and repositioning in terms of Market – Customers – Products to face the challenges of profitability and viability in a reasonable time without forgetting its socio-impact. economical in its environment. This strategic and operational reorientation, after three years, has made it possible to have good clarity of the EMF's actions and to reassure its various stakeholders despite the still existence of several significant challenges to be met to complete the reforms initiated. This is an opportunity to thank all shareholders and in particular the majority shareholder ECP Financial Holding (EFH) who took over from ORAGROUP for their unwavering support; the members of the Board of Directors for their constant concern alongside FTSL and all the staff who work tirelessly with a spirit of determination and sacrifice to achieve the objectives assigned by the managers. We thank the supervisory and supervisory authorities (MINFI, COBAC, CNC, etc.) who support this EMF without stopping for the harmonious completion of its restructuring. We also thank the serious colleagues who make the efforts to earn the trust of customers and maintain the credibility of the EMF despite the repeated occurrence of events which tend to tarnish the reputation of our sector of activity. Finally we send a special thank you to the customers who have always trusted First Trust and who continue to make it what it is; without them FTSL would not exist and would undoubtedly not have managed to get through all these difficult moments of its existence, we are grateful to them and will spare no effort to provide them with a quality service worthy of the important place that they occupy in our establishment. May the Lord bless our institution. Damase Gnonhossou The Director General
