::L'Ovalie is for me among the top 3 restaurant in Douala. Jerome the owner and his staff are welcoming , the French cuisine is top notch and you get access to a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. What please me the most is the ingenuity that is injected into the creation of new dishes made of a mixed of local and French ingredient.

::Very interesting place with a particular protocole French vibe. The menu is presented by the chef, and there are daily menus. My family and I were looking for a good dinner, but we were disappointed by the food. The menu had no vegetarian options (as we are vegetarians)--and what we were served lacked taste and flavor. It was not 'special'. I would not recommend if you are vegetarian.
