::I have send about CFA 2.400.000 to my wife from my European bank account to buy us a car. They (SCB Nsam) say they can not find the money for 2 WEEKS NOW. I have prove the money is in Yaounde (European bank details and Swift message details). Do not trust this bank and try to take your money and find another bank. In over 40 years of using banks I have never experienced such a level of incompetence or worse: theft. The funny thing is: just 3 days before this transaction (EUR 3.700) I transferred EUR 1.000 on 11.07.2020 to test if everything would work nicely. That money arrived within 3 days on my wife her account. Although they deducted over CFA 22.000 of 'expenses' ??? I guess that amount was not interesting enough to get 'lost' totally, they just took a nice sum to taste it.. I will try to update this post once they gave the second transfer to my wife. For now I am still waiting. To conclude: We finally received our money. We suspect a local bank employee or maybe the whole SCB Nsam branche operates a 'private shadow bank' on the side, since my wife overheard people discussing to try to get what seemeed a non-official loan back on the phone... I suggest a thorough financial audit of this branch office could reveal the real truth of what was happening here...

::Even if the service can be of better quality, it's my preferred bank in Cameroon. Their plus are the ATMs which are available everywhere in the city, wherever you are in Cameroon, thanks to their partnership with Total. What a great idea! Just because of that, I will remain with them. 👍👍
